Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
My son is being unsupervised during visitations with his mother
I have full custody of my nine year old son. His mother has visitation every other weekend. His mother is living with a man that has two children who also have visitation during the same weekends as my son. The three children are often unsupervised and are told to play outside of the apartment because my child's mother wants to be with her boyfriend. One of the boyfriend's children is a thirteen old boy who is quite the troublemaker. This boy and my son during the weekend visits have been trying to sneak into strip clubs, tearing down Christmas light displays, watching pornographic movies in my ex's home, and ''keying'' cars. My son usually doesn't participate in these acts, but he is always present because his mother has told him to stay with this other boy. I am afraid that my son and this other boy are going to get into serious trouble with the law. My ex-wife refuses to discipline our son or to acknowledge the bad influence her boyfriend's son has on our son. She also continues to send the children out of the apartment unsupervised. Can I get a modification of her visitation due to her lack of supervision and the problems being created by her boyfriend's son?

Re: My son is being unsupervised during visitations with his mother
It is possible to file a motion to modify visitation, however, you had better have the allegations you suggest documented so that you could prove them in Court. You need to show that the lack of supervision is harmful to the child.
Good luck.
