Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

out of state visitation

My ex husband retired from the Army and chose to stay in Indiana. Our children and I live in Ohio. He has visitation every other weekend. I agreed to this because I was never informed of the long distance visitaion plan. My daughter travels 500 miles by car ( round trip) every other weekend to see her dad. I did agree to this also because my daughter begged me too. My ex does do most all of the driving. Is there anything I can do about this? I feel its unfair to my little girl.

Re: out of state visitation

That's quite a distance at short intervals. Custody and visitation agreements are modifiable through the court. Think about consulting with an attorney about the pros and cons to see whether or not a court might determine that this current arrangement is in your child's best interest.
