Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Sue husband(now ex) for burning down our house that insurance denied the claim

My husband (now ex) burned down our family owned house a couple years ago, the insurance company denied the claim. The husband did not serve time in jail although he was found guilty of arson. Can I sue him for the losses of personal property of the rest of the family(2 children and myself)

Yes, you can sue him for damages, although the statute of limitations might be a problem. You only have 2 years from the date of the incident to file against him for conversion, 4 years under other theories. If the house was dealt with in a divorce decree, you may also have a contempt action against him in domestic relations court.
