Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Summer Vacation

I am a father in OH, I get an extended 4 week vacation to spend with my son, not taking more than 2 weeks at a time. I am required to submit a 90 day notice to my ex of dates I intend to exercise, which I have done. Because of a conflict with her schedule she has gotten ticked off and said that I can have the dates I submitted but ONLY those dates. She says because it is summer and school is over I dont get every other weekend during this time, only the 4 weeks. We have ALWAYS done it where I continue every other weekend visitation & then I get the 4 weeks for things such as family vaca to FL,camping trips etc. There would be some gaps where I wouldn't see my son for 6 weeks, if we did it that way. Can she do this? Take away my every other weekend, because I get 4 weeks?

Re: Summer Vacation

Normally in shared parenting agreements, vacation privileges supercede other visitation time. So, if a normal weekend occurs during a scheduled vacation, that weekend is probably lost. This applies to both parents. I can't see, however, that there would be a 6-week spread where you would go without parenting time. Does the agreement state that there is no visitation during the child's summer vacation? Probably not.
