Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

"support"

problem: it seems to take over 3 weeks for transferr of funds, after they are collected, to reach my bank for automatic deposit.

payment is made in putnam co. tenn. and goes to franklin co. ohio.

Question: a) what is procedure, from the time it is recieved untill it is deposited.

b) who or what inity is holding the funds? do these areas gain anything, cash, perks, etc. from the holding of these funds? how much, and what is gained, and by whom.

c) are there federal laws pertaining to this? where do i look up this information?

d) state laws for ohio and tenn.

I think you will have to contact the bureau of support. I would not necessarily know the operating proceedures of each link in the chain of distribution here. But when you think about all the hands, including government bureaucracies, this stuff passes through, I'm not surprised. Again, ask the bureau of support to detail the steps involved in getting funds transferred from point of origin into your hands.
