Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Unable to collect court ordered child support

I would like to know how I can take my ex-husband to court. He purposely gets minimum wage jobs then quits them once child support is being deducted. My son saw him at his last job (pizza parlor) and told me. I reported it to child support and started getting checks for about a month then they stopped. I called the pizza parlor and was informed that he quit without any notice. My ex-husband even told a mutual friend of ours that he ''had to quit working because someone saw him and he got fired.'' My last check was in December in the amount of $5.00

Re: Unable to collect court ordered child support

You must file a motion to show cause in contempt against him in the domestic relations court where the judgment currently is. Also, you need to ask the court to put an order to report on him to require him to report his employment status to CSEA and the court on a weekly basis.
