Visitation Clarification
In my divorce we agreed to a shared parenting plan. For summer vacations the childrens Father can schedule up to four weeks vacation durings summer break with 30 days advance notice to me, the children's mother. Please clarify what this actually means. My ex thinks is means he gets them no matter what if he tells me 30 days prior. He also thinks it superseeds anything previously scheduled by me regardless of my scheduling. Your interpetation would be greatly appreciated to resolve this issue.

I don't know what it means, although common sense tells me it would have to be worked out in good faith by the parties. If you are facing this kind of pettiness, I would go back to court and get the magistrate or judge to specify that the final schedule has to be workable for both parties. It seems idiotic. And it is.
