Visitation
My husband and i pay child support for his son whom he adopted and the childs mother does not send him for visitation. So my question is, is there anything we can do to enforce visitation and or stop payments. please advise

As to payment, I doubt it unless there has been some of circumstance which might justify a modification of the support order. However, you can petition the court for a specific visitation order if the original order left it up to the parties. Or if there was a specific visitation order that the mother is violating you could file a contempt action. I would get a lawyer if possible to do this.
Also, be aware that depending on the circumstances, it could get messy. I have been involved in many situations in which because of the animosity between the parties, the legal process overwhelmed everything else and became the ongoing concern of everybody. Meanwhile, the noncustodial parent still didn't visitation. I'm just saying this because it would be worth your while IF IT IS POSSIBLE to try and informally settle whatever issue prevents visits before going ahead with the legal process.
