Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
more visitation
My mom and dad have been divorced for 7 years. I'm now 17, a female, and i need to see my mom more often. I live with my dad, and while i am not the happiest, i still wouldn't like to live with my mother. I seem to need her more and more...that womanly advice that only a mother can give. And i need her more as i grow into a young woman. I only see her every other weekend, and not even that. It's hard to achieve everything in my short teen years that i'd like to. such as holding a job, having a social life, making plans with my friends, etc, when i have to worry if i am supposed to visit my mom that weekend or not. I hate putting things aside to see her, but yet i love her and miss her alot, and i can't just ditch her. I could, andi'm sure so would everyone else involve, sleepbetter at night knowing that if i could visit my mom EVERY weekend, that i wouldn't have to make such hard decisions. It would be easier to work knowing that if i miss this weekend, i can see her the following. I can't do that now. So, i want to know how i can achieve the visiting times requested?

Re: more visitation
First of all, talk to your dad about it, and see if he'll allow it. You cannot make any kind of a motion yourself, but maybe you can get your parents to agree.
