Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

What if a woman lies under oath in a divorce proceedure? She lied about a man friend living with her. She is a victim of physicial and mental abuse and lied because he told her she'd lose the children for living with her male friend. Will she loose custody for this?

While it is illegal to commit perjury in the state of Ohio, it is not often prosecuted, especially in circumstances wherein the person lied because she was under duress.

Most parents will not lose custody of their children for living with someone else unless that person is seen to be a threat to the safety of the children.
