Legal Question in Medical Leave in Ohio
fmla
our 2002 contract gave employee option of using paid time off when using fmla. now company says we have to use it. is this true.

Employers can require employees to use accrued paid time off for FMLA leave. If this new policy conflicts with a collective bargaining agreement that�s in place, you should raise the issue with your union and, if necessary, follow the grievance procedures contained in the CBA if you want to contest the policy.
