Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio
1. Is it against the law for a minor to have a pack of cigaretts? My daugher was given a ticket/citation.
2. At the same time I was given a misdemeanor citation for my daughter breaking curfew.....at 1:30 am. Curfew in North Royalton, ohio is 1 am. I was talking/texting with my daughter on where she was between the hours of 12 midnite and 1:30 am...she kept saying she was on her way home. My daugther knows I will come pick her up , no questions asked, just so she is not out after midnite. Midnite is "MY curfew" till she is 18.
