Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

accident

My daughter and a friend were playing around and broke a small glass display case at school. The school sent us a bill. I called the administration building and they were not aware of the billing. Are we responsible for this accident or does the school have insurance that should cover it?

Whether or not the school has insurance, you, as the parent, are responsible for the negligent acts of your child.
