Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio
accused of property damage
I am receiving letters and threats of being sued by an insurance company. They claim that I damaged the fender of a vehicle with a disc golf. A woman submitted a claim to her insurance telling them I did this. There is no police report or witnesses. The ''victim'' only has a piece of paper with my name and address. How do I stop this?

There is a good chance they will just quit bothering you. I wouldn't worry much unless you actually get sued. You will know if you are being sued, you will recieve a summons from the court. Feel free to contact me if you wish. Best Regards, Edward Dicato
