I have received a judgement in a civil matter. I would like to know what my options are in collection of the judgement. Also, what does it mean when it says ''plus interest at the the rate of 10% per annum.?

Re: Collecting money from an awarded judgement

You have done the easy part. Collecting on the judgment is the tough part. You can either attach a bank account or garnish wages or try to attach any asset that the Defendant my have. Interest at 10 percent means that you add 10 percent to any amount that the Defendant has not already paid.

Good Luck
