Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Contract written in plain english

If I create a contract for a specific purpose, can I reasonably expect it to hold up in court if I write it myself in plain english? Basically I would cover every possible contingency I could think of. Will a court look at the intent of the contract even if it is not in legalese? I would rather not engage a lawyer for every little business transaction, but do want to protect myself beyond a word of mouth transaction.

No. Call me if you want. There is no way you will know how to write it. There's too much legalese that belongs in there that you probably don't even understand.

Sorry.
