Your attorney works for you, you don't work for him. You can discharge your atty any time. You should do it in writing. He must return your file to you upon request as well as any unpaid retainer. Please feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss your case 216-781-2600.

Dear Inquirer: Your Attorney is not a guarantor of the outcome of your case. however, if you truly believe your Attorney is not representing you fairly and diligently, consistent with the facts and law,you have every right to terminate his/her services, in writing. However, before you do so, please consult another Attorney with the facts, to confirm your suspicions. If you are truly still dissatisfied, retain new Counsel at once. Good luck.

Sincerely, J. Norman Stark
