Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

My mother was injured in a Nursing facility during a transfer, her hip was fractured and she laid for 12 days until my sister demanded she have an x-ray. I feel like the nurse and the aids should be held responsible for their negligence, Can I legally file a civil suit against them?

Probably. You absolutely have a negligence claim against the facility, the question is are you limited to arbitration or are you allowed to go to court? The answer depends on what is contained in the contract between the patient and the nursing home. These cases are difficult and they are defended vigorously.
