Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Neighbor Harrasment

My neighbors teenagers have been shooting firworks at my house. I have asked them to stop, but they won't. I live alone with my elderly grandmother. When I am gone, they do it thinking nobody is home. But my grandmother witnesses them doing it. They do it to scare my dogs. I am afraid that they are going to burn down my home, while my grandmother is in it. And their parents are not making them stop. I have fireworks all over my garage roof and yard that I have to clean up on a daily basis. I am getting sick of this. It is turning into a an ordeal. I have gotten into arguments with them over it. They have sat outside and basically stared me down and the other day their teenaged daughter walked right out in front of my car and tried to make me hit her, while her parents watched on smiling. I don't know what to do. Is their any kind of legal action that I can take against these people to make them stop doing this to me?

Re: Neighbor Harrasment

You have a couple of alternatives. First, you can call the police and complain. Second, you can call the local prosecutors office and have them send a warning letter. Third, you can report the children to the local childrens services bureau.

Good Luck!!!!!!!
