Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Non-Spousal Property Division

One year ago I purchased a camper for $5000. I secured a signature loan in my name only and titled the camper in my name only. My ex-boyfrien moved out 4 months later. There is a $2100 balance remaining on the loan. He is demanding that I give him half the value of the camper or he will take me to court. We lived together for a total of 2 years. He is also threatening to make me pay him all the money he gave me for household expenses. Please help.

Re: Non-Spousal Property Division

Tell him good luck and to knock himself out if he thinks he can get a court to rule that he was entitled to live rent- and expense-free for two years. His request is akin to asking a landlord to repay him past rent payments upon vacating the premises.
