Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Service to Car caused damage

My car was serviced by a quick oil change facility, the wrong fluid was placed in my brake resivor causing extremem damage to the braking system in the car, still getting repairs done, probably over 2000.00, do I have a case to have them pay for the damages? They are denying any wrong doing, but this is the only place gone to within a years period. Problems started approximately 2 weeks after they serviced vehicle

If you can present a mechanic to the court that will testify that this liquid did the harm, and couple that with your testimony that you only went to that business, you could win a lawsuit. Of course, you will most probably need an attorney unless you take this to small claims court, and direct the trial yourself.

Sounds like you have a case. The only issue is proving it. Do you have any documentation from the places you went to get the repairs done after the bad service? Who told you the wrong fluid was put in? Is it documented in writing anywhere?

Feel free to contact me if you have more questions.
