Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio
Being Sued
My aunt has left a threatening message stating she is suing my husband and I over pictures. My mother passed last year and we have some of her pictures, mainly my baby pictures and now she is stating they are hers and she is suing us to get them back and for court costs. Can she do this?

Re: Being Sued
First off: People can sue for anything. I'm not suggesting she'd win, but she has every right to file a lawsuit.
If you truly, honestly don't believe you have done anything wrong, and the pictures are of you.... just tell her to go ahead and sue you. Then get a lawyer and defend yourself.
