Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio
Verbal Agreements
My ex-boyfriend and I made a verbal agreement to pay 1/2 of a medical bill obtained in sept of 2003. We were intimate and the contraceptive came off. My ex advised me of the morning after pill. I called planned parenthood and they were closed because of the weekend. So I went to my local emergency room. With the insurance that I have the co-pay is $100. I advised my ex of this and he agreed to pay me for 1/2 of the bill on Nov 8 of 2003. I have left him numerous messages and etc... but he feels it is not important. Because he made a verbal agreement with me to pay 1/2 do I have any legal recourse to collect? I basically did him a favor by not having his 7th child. What can I do. Thankyou

Re: Verbal Agreements
Yes you have a claim against him. Your testimony should suffice.
