Of course there is a possibility that every case will get a denial. But if she can prove bona fide marriage and hardship, she will have a chance to win her case. Age should not be an issue. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney to discuss her options.

You are going to have to file a Provisional Waiver first. If that is approved, she will still need to leave the country & apply for her immigrant visa in her home country. Of course, there is always a risk of being denied for different reasons. However, if an experienced immigration attorney reviews her case & thinks she has a good chance of approval at the U.S. Consulate, assuming the provisional Waiver is approved, then it's up to the 2 of you to decide if it's worth even a slight to almost no risk of denial. Keep in mind that if she is denied at the U.S. Consulate, she will be barred from re-entering the U.S. for 10 years. So make sure you hire an immigration attorney with lots of experience with these types of cases! Don't get bad advice from a mediocre attorney.

I am not here to solicit you, as some of these other attorneys are. I'm just here to give you experienced & truthful advice.

Good luck.
