Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio
American married a canadian, having trouble getting him work visa.
My friend Married a canadian in 2007. She wants him to move here legally but is saying she cannot sponsor him because she doesn't make anywhere near enough money. How can this man legally move to Ohio and attain a work visa or something that will allow him to at least work without her having to sponsor him?

Your friend can find an additional sponsor (does not need to be a relative) who can fill out the affidavit of support and then the husband can immigrate to the U.S.

She needs to get a co-sponsor with enough income.
