Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio
Hello,
in 2008 August my husbend (US citizen) filed I-130 for my son, Who was 15 years old at the time and live back in Lithuania. We have not heard from immigration since then. When I check the status online the info still from 2008 and say "testing-interview". Could you please tell me is my status have anything to do with that? Becouse I am witing on my Green Card also, or it is independent case?
Thank you

It shouldn't. Very often the hold-up is that background checks need to be completed. Have you thought about actually visiting the district office in Cleveland and asking for advice? When there are hold-ups, I often start there.
