illiegal immigrent from mexico

Me and my fiance have a 6 month old baby together. we would like to get married ASAP. my fiance he is illiegal and we dont know where to start with the papers to make him legal in the US. i really dont want immigration to come knocking at my door for him and take my fiance away please help!

It is difficult to say without knowing his circumstances. Some who are hear illegally can apply for a change of status. Others need to return to their home country for a number of years and start over again.

I would be happy to explain the options with you and your fiance. They vary depending on how he entered the US, when he entered, his age at that time, what has occurred since he has been here and so on.

He may have to return to Mexico, but it also may be possible that he can be processed under a pilot program that will allow him to return to the US in under a weeks time.
