Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio
Overstayed Visa
My Mother overstayed her visa. Is there any faster, legal solution, that she can come back earlier then her 10 years restriction is? If she will change her name it can help?

Re: Overstayed Visa
There is no unlawful presence waiver available to a parent of a USC. If she left after overstaying for more than a year, she must stay out for 10 years. However, if your mother is still in the US, even though she is an overstay, she is eligible to adjust her status and obtain her permanent residence here.
