Legal Question in Immigration Law in Ohio

respected sir/madam i entered u.s with c-1-d visa in 2006 and stayed since date.my visa is expire and my question is can i become legal,get a work permit,pay taxes or get married to my girlfreind whom i am dating for last 3 years.i have never talk to a lawyer before,can u advise me please.

Crewmen cannot adjust status. See INA 204(c). Therefore, they cannot get a collateral benefit of work authorization. Further and based on your facts presented, you are not eligible for cancellation of removal for non-lprs. It would appear your only avenue at this time is asylum (fear of persecution). Prior to doing anything, consult with an attorney.
