Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio
Comprehensive Auto Claim
Hi! A co-worker of mine had a deer hit their car. They contacted their insurance company and had the estimates done. The insurance company sent them a check, and now they are going to fix the car with someone else for less and keep the difference. I told the co-worker that I thought that was fraud, and they said no, because the company made the check out to them and not the repair shop. Is this true?

Your co-worker's right. It is not fraud.
