Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio
Excluded under policy
A member of my household that is named as excluded under my auto policy drove my car and wrecked it. Can the insurance company deny my claim or are all drivers in my household included?

Re: Excluded under policy
A car insurance policy may exclude certain individuals from coverage. Apparently you knew that. If the individual drove your car with your permission, then the exclusion probably applies. If the use was without your permission, it is a criminal act, and is likely excluded also. More facts and the exact language of the polciy are needed to adequately advise you, however.
Good luck.
