Legal Question in Insurance Law in Ohio
I was recently in a car accident and I didn't have insurance at the time. The other guy in the accident did though. He took the car to a repair shop and they estimated the damage at $2,300. We never filed a police report or anything like that. If his insurance pays for the damage to his car, the $2,300, am I still liable to pay him back that $2,300 or do I just pay him back the deductibles that the insurance company is charging him?

If you were at fault, his insurance company will likely contact you and demand full repayment of $2,300, as that amount is the amount that his insurance company had to pay to fix the vehicle.
