Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio
Creating T-Shirts from Images of Cars
I desire to create tshirts that have the image of a car on them. I will be taking pictures of cars in public areas. I will import these images into Illustrator and create illustrations of the cars. I will not be including the company insignia/logo of any of the cars on the shirts or the names of the cars. Is the fact that the car is recognizable, enough of a concern that is is infringing upon copyright/trademark laws?
