Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio
I did graphic design work including logos for a client's website. The client has failed to pay the invoice but my originals graphics are in use. I have filed in small claims court to get paid but can I now file a cease and desist on them for the use of my work until they pay for it? If so, should I give them a time frame to get my work down? I can easily reuse this work for another project. Thanks

Unless you had a provision in your written agreement with them that made clear if not paid in full by a certain date they would lose their right to use the content or if done as a work for hire / assignment revert back to your ownership then your claim is for services rendered, that is, a contract claim. So you did the right thing by filing the claim in small claims court.
All the best,
