Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio
We hired a contractor who is ignoring us after we paid him @ $50,000.00 for remodeling. The problem is he still owes us for the kitchen cabinets and other expensive items which we paid for but have not received. It has been a week now and he refuses to return my numerous calls. He has lied a number of times to us to make excuses why the work isn't being done. According to our contract, we were supposed to have received these items long ago. I have tried everything, but nothing works with this guy. What can we do?

Any attorney will say you should contact your state's contractors licensing board. They have a process for handling complaints with your contractor. Their involvement will definitely get his attention.
