Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Ohio
licensing agreement
If i have a very clear relationship with
a company . Ie documented design submissions , acceptances and consistant royalty reports & payments
but no written contract . If there ever was a dispute over non- payment would the it matter to the court that there was no signed contract ?

Re: licensing agreement
You should absolutely require that your agreement be put into a signed contract, mainly for YOUR protection.
If you can afford to lose your income/license fees from this, then don't insist on one.
This is what business attys do for their clients.
