Legal Question in Investment Law in Ohio
Can stock trading company exchange stocks I own without my authorization ?
Scott trade called it'' Corporate Actions''. When I asked why they responded '' it was a mandatory reorganiztion''When I asked on who's authority they responded: I could pay $500.00 to have trade undone. Are they in the wrong??

Generally no transaction may be made in a non-discretionary account without prior permission from the account holder or without a power of attorney with written authorization.
