Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Ohio
can i(17) live with my boyfriend(25) against parents wishes?
i am 17 and my boyfriend is 25. i am going to be 18 in june. I haven't told my parents about my boyfriend yet because i am afraid they will get the police involved. can you tell me if/how he can get into trouble for being with a 17 year old? is there any way i can move in with him now or do i have to wait until im 18? i would not have my parents consent.

Until you are 18 you are not allowed to live outside your parents' authority...but it is not illegal in itself to be with your boyfriend. The legal consent age is 16, so you are beyond that, but you just can't live with him.
