Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Ohio

Child Support and Juvenile Detention

I have a son whom I receive child support for. He has recently been charge with a crime that he did commit and possibly faces being incarcerated in a Juvenile Detention facility. Should he be sentenced to be in Juvenile Detention, do I still get the child support checks? If not, who gets them? Do I get my own wages garnished to support this child while incarcerated?

Re: Child Support and Juvenile Detention

You both may be charged for the expense of the jail time, but the child support will keep coming as long as the father does not make a motion.

Call me directly if you want help keeping your son out of jail.
