Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Ohio

CPS wrongly took my kid away from me and told me I had to leave the house and father gets residential custody. I have had supervised visits for 3 years now and I filed a motion to modify visitation to unsupervised visitation. The father has been very difficult to deal with and will not budge that is why I am taking him to court. He abused me physically, emotionally and verbally. I did get charged with attempt to commit a crime and I had to spend a month in jail. What are my chances if I have gone through extensive treatment and have many letters from people with an advadavit and notorixed. I live in Wisconsin and my kids live in Ohio. I travel down as often as I can. Please guide me I don't have a lawyer (no money) but I do have an advocate representing me. What are my rights.

You should file for the visitation that you want ASAP. It will likely take months before your first court date. Your chances sound very good considering the length of time that has passed. Since I don't know why CFS took the actions it did, I can't fully predict your chances, but if you have corrected the things that were wrong, and the children want to see you, you should te-gain your previous status. Do you know who the GAL is?
