Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Ohio
A juvenile commits a felony but is not arrested for the crime until after he has reached the age of 21 years. Which court has jurisdiction to hear the charges � juvenile or adult court?

It would be tried in Juvenile court at first. Then if it was a violent offense the court could conduct a hearing to determine whether to try the defendant as an adult.
