Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
I am being asked to attend a hearing later this week. My ex-girlfriend is stating that I was harrassing her through phone tx/calls. The larger issue is that she let me into her house one day for me to pick up gifts that I had given her that I believed I was owed. All the items did not fit in my car... so I told her I would return. She began to cry/sob... and I felt bad. I took the items back into her house. Several days later... I went back to the house... thinking she would be there. I found that she was not. I then proceeded to walk through the back door of her house(which I lived at for a year) and grabbed the items I had previously had in my car the few days before.
She called the police and had a 10 day protection order placed against me. Stating she was distressed over the txt/phone calls and the items being taken.
Another issue is that we work at the same place. Not in the same depts. though. We only see each other in passing. Work has refused to pay me. Work made me use all my vacation/sick time.

It sounds as if you have two separate legal issues. One involves the recovery of your property and the other is your job refusing to pay you.
However, I need more facts before I can fully advise you. What type of hearing is this? What is the reason for your work's failure to pay you?
I would love to assist you with this. Feel free to contact me, free of charge, at [email protected] or [email protected].
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and have a great day.
