Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
An attorney took a $1000 retainer in Nov. 2010 to do some work and has yet to do it. I've called and emailed several times but she will not return my messages. What can I do?

You could send her a letter requesting that the work be completed by a certain time or, if not, that she return the retainer. If that doesn't help then contact your local bar association. They often have a fee mediation service that you can use for free.
