Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Employee Wages

When my husband was hired (two years ago), he worked into the pay agreement that the company would pay for our family's health insurance. I just received a bill in the mail that was unexpected. We normally pay a copay for doctor visits but the insurance company wasn't covering what they normally would cover. His employer changed their insurance to a policy that doesn't cover as much which means more money out of pocket for us. They didn't give us any choice in the matter or any notice at all. Now I have a $300 doctor bill and hardly any health insurance. In my eyes, my husband just got a HUGE dock in pay without ever being consulted. Is this even legal??
