Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
My former employer is refusing to provide me with my final pay and is citing unfounded reasons and accusations against me. It is now going into the fourth week of my termination and I still have yet to get the pay for the hours that I worked. I said some things to the former employer that he did not like and now he is using this against me as well as citing the above reasons for the refusal to pay for the hours that I worked for his company. Is there an attorney that would be willing to help me as I don't have a lot of money? Do I have a case and am I safe to file a complaint with the state of Ohio regarding unpaid wages if I do not have an attorney?

I am not currently taking new cases. However, you should be able to help yourself by checking out these on-line resources.
State of Ohio https://com.ohio.gov/divisions-and-programs/industrial-compliance/wage-and-hour/guides-and-resources/file-a-minimum-wage-complaint
Federal https://www.dol.gov/agencies/whd/contact/complaints
Please do not consider this legal advice, just some friendly help from someone who has been in your shoes.
Good luck!
