employer ripoff

I recently found out that my employer is not paying what our contract states and he is shaving hours off the time cards. Can I sue for back pay ?

You can access the fed's wage and hour site at:

http://www.dol.gov/esa/whd/contact_us.htm

Many times an employer will straighten up if you tell them you are going to contact the state and federal wage and hour authority.

The employer would call you adding hours theft. Civil theft is called conversion. In addition you may have federal and state wage law violations.
