Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

employment question

i was fired for employee theft about five years ago. i had to fill out a form admitting it and paid back estimated damages in cash at the time of ''questioning'' i was never officially told i was fired but was sent home that day and never heard another thing. do i have a record? can potential future employers find this information?

You have a record of dishonesty that can be viewed by others. I would recommend a civil expungement or declaratory action.
