Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
Employment/Non-Compete Agreement
My employer has recently merged with another company, and as a result, has adopted many of the joint company's policies and procedures. All employees are now being required to sign a new Employment Agreement, which binds an employee for 3 years after their employment with the company has been terminated. Not only that, my employer is only giving employees ONE business day to sign and return the agreement, or you are considered to be voluntarily resigned. Our company's headquarters is in Dayton, Ohio...is there an attorney I could fax the agreement to for review prior to this tight deadline? I need help ASAP.

Re: Employment/Non-Compete Agreement
The time limit is unreasonable. But the agreement can be reviewed quickly if the lawyer knows what to look for.
