Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio
Equal Pay Act
On our job, we have 2 lines, same purpose, same pay, but on their line they only have one job. I on the other hand have multitudes of responsibilities which was added on gradually over the years. I have had countless injuries including stress. Other workers have succeeded in getting raises at the plant, Ive been trying for years to get a raise but no one will respond. Not even to say no. I do the job of three positions to their one! Their product cost more to make than my line does. Our jobs are in no way, equal. Therefore the pay shouldn't be equal. Do I need a lawyer or am I just being a whinny baby? There really is much more to this story.
