Hello & thank you for taking my question:
Is it legal for a company doctor to ''contact'' and ''request'' a ''Functional Capacity Evaluation'' from an employee's primary care physician without that employee's written or verbal consent to do so?

If it is a workers comp and the employer is self insured and HIPPA is not involved. It is the grey
areas that require extensive research.
